DIPECHO Programme as a part of disaster preparedness.IR,B also launched the Child Scouting and Cultural Forum (CSCF) project in Rajbari district in 2007 to improve cognitive development of the sponsored children. In the

same year, we implemented the Adolescent Reproductive Health Care (ARHC) project in Rangpur.Taking into consideration of the vulnerability of the Rohingya refugees, Islamic Relief extended its hands for improvement to improve their living conditions by providing assistance in areas such as housing, community road, income generating activities, health facility, safe water & sanitation, awareness raising, etc.In 2008, IR,B established the Integrated Water and Sanitation programme separately to ensure safe water and sanitation facilities for vulnerable communities and the Rohinhya refugees.2009 marked IR,B move towards working on climate change adaptation issues. To address the disaster risk reduction issues in more detail, the DRR and Humanitarian Assistance and Early Recovery (HAER) programmes were set up separately. To reduce the
extreme poverty and food insecurity of vulnerable women and their dependants, IR,-B launched the integrated livelihood program in Rangpur. IR,B played a vital role to rehabilitate the Cyclone Aila victims of Koira upazila under Khulna district and Shyamnagor upazila under Satkhira district. 2010 saw IR,B provide WATSAN support to 5,045 families, 3200 shelter support, 14,850 livelihood supports and 4870 food and nutrition support for Cyclone Aila victims as well as continuing the long term rehabilitation projects.
